About Bayou Preservation

Bayou Preservation is a team of professional conservators and preservationists that specializes in the hands-on restoration of historic and artistic works in the Gulf South. Our conservators come from throughout the United States, have international preservation experience, and most hold Masters degrees in historic preservation. Restoration experience ranges from repairing metal sculptures at Tulane University, preserving a masonry outbuilding at a plantation in rural Louisiana, and restoring the infamous Marie Laveau Tomb in the historic St. Louis 1 Cemetery. We are a registered, Louisiana small business, woman-owned, and fully insured.
