This marble sculpture of Saint Dominic Savio sat outside underneath thick bramble for years and slowly deteriorated. Thanks to a generous patron at Archbishop Shaw Highschool, the sculpture was saved and relocated. We completed the careful cleaning and removal of biological growth before adding back lost facial, hand, and other features to the sculpture using a stone filler. This project proved highly technical and artistic.
