Bayou Preservation's conservators have a variety of backgrounds and specialties in materials conservation. All of our conservators have post-graduate degrees in Historic Preservation, and we are proficient in masonry, stone, plaster, metals, and paints and coatings.

PortfolioPrivate Tomb in St. Louis 2Bayou Preservation completed the full restoration of this stepped-roof tomb in the historic St. Louis 2 Cemetery in New Orleans. Work included extensive masonry, plaster, and cast iron restoration. Bayou Preservation was able to match the historic, dark red color wash on the tomb that dated to the late nineteenth century.View Item
PortfolioPoydras (Orphans) TombBayou Preservation completed the restoration of the large, cruciform Poydras Tomb in Lafayette Cemetery #1.
